Student Welfare's mission is to seek the greatest possible amount of welfare in the academic and personal-social level of the student, for the achievement of a study project that aims at academic excellence and the student's personal development. In this sense, this office conceives, plans and develops activities so that UPB students participate in them and feel comfortable at the University during their stay.
Student Welfare contributes to the solution of the diverse needs of students: academic, through the support of Guidance and Counseling; economic, through the Scholarship Program; of recreation that is linked to the various cultural and sports activities developed inside and outside the UPB and the dining and transportation services.
Similarly, Student Welfare is in charge of maintaining relationships between students and the different offices of the institution, providing all possible collaboration and support.
